FAQs
Yes. Freehold ownership is available to buyers of any nationality within designated freehold areas, which include most of the communities Northway advises on. Title is registered with the Dubai Land Department in the buyer's name.
The UAE does not levy an annual property tax. Purchasers should budget for a one-off transfer fee payable to the Dubai Land Department, together with agency and conveyancing costs, and for ongoing service charges levied by the building.
An off-plan purchase is made against a payment plan linked either to construction milestones or to fixed dates. Buyer funds are paid into a project escrow account regulated by the relevant authority. Title transfers on completion and handover.
Property investment above certain thresholds can support a residency application in the UAE. Eligibility, thresholds and process are set by the relevant government authorities and change from time to time. Northway can coordinate introductions to independent advisers who handle applications.
Fees depend on the nature of the engagement. Brokerage, buy-side advisory or portfolio work are structured differently. Terms are agreed in writing before any engagement begins.
